2009 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate President Barack Obama
The Nobel Peace Prize Committee just announced that President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples“. Only four American Presidents have been so honored, including President Woodrow Wilson, President Theodore Roosevelt, and President Jimmy Carter. It is noteworthy that except for President Roosevelt, all other Presidential Nobel Peace Prize laureates were Democrats.
Popular speculation includes that the reason President Obama was awarded the Nobel was for inspiring hope with his equalitarian worldview or weltanschauung. Speaking as an American, that appears to be valid commentary on President Obama’s leadership and vision for the USA.
Congratulations, President Obama.

Whatever one thinks of the Sarah Palin disaster-debacle-spectacle, sexy Levi Johnston has emerged as a new hottie. His down-home appeal is well complemented by his openness.
