As well, the new Stonewall Movement aka Stonewall 2.0, is not critically defined by the numbers of younger people who are participating, although that is a significant demographic. It is defined by the immediacy of its emergence, the Internet and information systems tools used to organize and communicate, and by the broad reach of the larger goal of full and unequivocal equality for all GLBT people: finally. The mistake of the marriage rights people has been to make the right to marriage their top priority; Stonewall 2.0 redresses this by locating civil marriage rights in a more comprehensive equality movement.
